DIE FUNKTIONAL-SEMANTISCHE VERTEILUNG DER EIGENSCHAFTSNOMINA AUF -Î(N) UND -IDA IM ALTHOCHDEUTSCHEN UND DIE SUBJEKT-OBJEKTRELATION
Im Beitrag werden Verwendungstypen und Bedeutungsgruppen von althochdeutschen ida-Nomina ermittelt und die Gesetzmäßigkeiten in der Distribution von î(n)- und ida-Eigenschaftsnomina analysiert; dabei wird das Wesen und die Herkunft der metaphorischen Verwendung von althochdeutschen ida-Nomina aufgedeckt. Als eine besondere sprachliche Erscheinung wird derivationelle Metaphorik definiert. Der Hauptgegenstand der Analyse ist die semantische Basisrelation ‚Subjekt-Objekt‘, auf die die Einzelbedeutungen und Verwendungstypen von -î(n) und -ida zurückgehen.
This article establishes the pragmatic types and semantic groups of Old High German nouns in -ida and analyses the regularities in the distribution of deadjectival nouns in -î(n) and -ida, uncovering the nature and history of the metaphorical use of Old High German nouns in -ida. Derivational metaphorical imagery is defined as a particular feature of language. The main focus of the analyses is the basic semantic relationship ‘subject-object’, which underlies the individual interpretations and pragmatic types.
